Cariss Auburn is a singer-songwriter and self-taught producer from Wolverhampton. She cites her influences as a mix of genres including jazz and 90s r&b but 80s funk and soul have her heart.
Following a place on Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition longlist, she's been performing her soul-pop electronica with her band across the West Midlands and London, culminating in a headline show with Punch Records at Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham.
Debut single via UK independent label Modern Sky ‘Float’, received praise from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Refinery29, COLORS, and gal-dem, as well as being included in Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlists and gaining spins on BBC 1XTRA & BBC6Music.
Cariss returns on Wednesday 24th February with the upbeat offering ‘Daydream' or as Cariss describes it: “my own little 3-minute holiday.”
